A blurry image is usually caused by one of three things: focus, throw distance, or keystone settings. Here's how to diagnose and fix each.
1. Adjust the focus ring
Locate the focus ring around the lens (on the front of the unit). Slowly rotate it clockwise or counterclockwise while watching the projected image until it sharpens.
2. Check your throw distance
Each model has an optimal throw distance. If you're too close or too far from the screen, the image quality degrades. Refer to your model's spec sheet for the recommended distance range.
3. Keystone correction
If the image is sharp in the center but blurry at the edges, keystone distortion may be the issue. Use the keystone buttons on the remote to correct vertical and horizontal alignment.
Still blurry?
If none of the above resolves the issue, the lens may need cleaning. Use a microfiber cloth — never paper towels — to gently clean the lens surface. If the problem persists, contact support for a warranty evaluation.
